Apollo NZ Global/Weather Protection/Complete-Building Protection

Hurricane · Cyclone · Severe-weather protection

Hurricane & cyclone protection systems for the whole building.

Apollo NZ Global supplies coordinated hurricane and cyclone protection systems for homes, resorts, apartments, commercial buildings and public facilities in severe-storm regions. Storm-shutter pathways, impact windows and doors, large-opening protection and specialist systems are matched to the actual openings across the building rather than treated as one universal product.

Protection system selector

Start with the opening, then choose the system.

Different openings create different engineering, operational and architectural demands. These are the strongest starting pathways, not blanket substitutions for project-specific design.

01Building envelope

One building can need several different protection systems.

A severe-weather strategy should consider windows, entrance doors, sliding doors, balcony openings, garages, shopfronts and service openings as parts of one building envelope.

A coastal villa might use impact windows in bedrooms, accordion shutters across a wide slider, an impact entrance door and a dedicated garage system. A resort can use the same principle at much larger scale.

02System families

Permanent, deployable and specialist protection can work together.

Roll-down and accordion shutters provide permanent deployable protection. Impact windows and doors build protection directly into the opening. Bahama and Colonial shutters add architectural character. Fabric and storm louvres provide specialist pathways where rigid shutters are not the right answer.

03Project method

MAP → MATCH → VERIFY → INTEGRATE → MAINTAIN.

Map every exterior opening. Match the system to the use and architecture. Verify the exact technical evidence. Integrate fixings, power, drainage and façade details. Maintain the installed protection so it remains operational years later.

04Technical discipline

A hurricane product is only as credible as its exact configuration.

Opening size, design pressure, impact requirement, guide or frame system, anchors and structural substrate can all change performance. Apollo does not apply one headline wind-speed or impact claim to every product size.

Technical claim control

Performance follows the exact system and project.

Opening size, positive and negative design pressures, impact requirements, tracks or frames, anchors and structural substrate all affect final performance. Apollo ties numerical wind, impact and certification claims to the applicable tested or engineered configuration rather than applying one blanket rating to an entire product family.

CapabilityProject Ready

Apollo's catalogue owner, project-brief pathway and core product record are complete enough to progress into project review and manual quotation. This is not a statement of engineering approval or destination compliance.

EvidenceRegion Mapped

Apollo has an explicit regional priority map for this product. Regional mapping supports discovery and project review; it is not blanket compliance certification.

Review statusTechnical Review Required

Configuration, technical evidence, interfaces, exposure or destination requirements need product-specific review before the final supply package is confirmed.
