03 / Resorts & architecture

Outdoor architecture for commercial hospitality projects.

Project-configured architectural shade, outdoor structures and amenity systems for hotels, resorts, dining terraces and premium developments.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Hospitality developers · Architects · Resort procurement · Commercial contractors

International wholesale and project supply · No local installation service implied

The project approach

Start with the actual scope.

For India, shade and outdoor systems should be selected against solar exposure, monsoon rainfall, drainage, local wind criteria, corrosion conditions and maintenance access. Specifications and availability are confirmed on the selected model.

India / Hospitality and architectural shade · Technical selection

Architectural louvres specified for the actual Indian terrace.

For architects, resorts, premium villas and restaurants, choose an outdoor roof around dimensions, support conditions, monsoon drainage, seasonal wind, controls and maintenance. ARKEN and other relevant shade pathways require current model-specific checks.

What are you planning to build or supply?

Selected-system review

Provide clear openings, support positions, design intent, louvre operation and required weather/drainage behavior. Final span and loads must be confirmed for the selected configuration.

02 / Start a specification-led enquiry

Build a more useful India project brief.

Provide what you know. Your selections pass through to Apollo's existing contact form; nothing is sent at this stage.

Supply only. Final product, documentation, freight, and local construction interfaces are established individually. No public or indicative pricing.

03 / Technical interfaces

Questions worth resolving before the product is selected.

01

Dimensions and mountings

Overall width/projection/height, wall-attached, freestanding or roof-only idea, column positions and existing structure drawings.

02

Monsoon rain and drainage

Local rainfall and drainage route, building discharge connection, overflow and maintenance, verified against the actual roof system.

03

Exposure and structure

Wind and local code criteria, site height, coastal/corrosive exposures, post/footing/beam interfaces and independent consultant sign-off.

04

Guest use and controls

Shade operation, lighting, rain/wind sensors, power, privacy screens and access for cleaning and servicing.

Technical submittal checklist

Documents and outputs to qualify.

  • Selected roof configuration and available general arrangement
  • Manufacturer-supported profile, finish and operating information
  • Current installation/interface drawings and relevant structural input
  • Electrical/control and drainage detail where supplied
  • Packing and delivery scope with local works excluded

Evidence and availability vary by selected product and manufacturer. The list defines what needs reviewing, not a promise that every report or certification is available.

Project-to-quotation sequence

How the supply process is prepared.

01
Architectural drawings

Provide dimensioned terrace plans, elevations, site and use.

02
System choice

Compare ARKEN with compact kitset or other architectural shade options.

03
Local technical review

Confirm support, drainage, exposure and selected-model documentation.

04
Supply quotation

Review configuration, finishes, options, logistics and handover.

INDIA / COMMON BUYER QUESTIONS

What project teams need to know.

Can architectural louvres be specified for India's monsoon climate?

Potentially, after reviewing the selected model, site wind criteria, drainage capacity, fixing substrate, rain management and maintenance. No weather rating is assumed from the product category alone.

Can a resort order several outdoor system types together?

Yes. Apollo can review coordinated louvre, shade, blind and outdoor structure supply for different zones while preserving the specifications and installation responsibilities of each selected system.

Are local building or electrical works included?

Apollo is supply-only. Local foundations, fixings, wiring, drainage, approvals and installation are arranged by the project's appointed local professionals unless a written scope explicitly states otherwise.

Can Apollo supply made-to-measure louvre roofs for Indian hotels?

Apollo can review ARKEN architectural systems for eligible hospitality projects, with size, configuration, manufacturer documentation and freight confirmed for the individual enquiry.

Are these louvre roofs automatically suitable for monsoon conditions?

No. The selected system, drainage capacity, operating limitations, local rainfall and structural criteria must be checked. A product category is not proof of all-weather suitability.

Who is responsible for structural calculations and installation in India?

The local design team and installers handle project-specific engineering, approvals, foundations and installation. Apollo provides the agreed supply package and available manufacturer documentation.
