How to build a sports court project brief before product supply

A useful court brief starts with the actual site rather than the surface alone. Apollo uses the available footprint, sport mix, existing base and operating environment to narrow suitable product pathways before a final project review.

Usable footprint and run-off

Court count is not determined by playing lines alone. Safe run-off, circulation, fencing, gates, adjacent walls and access all reduce the usable area. Measure the full site and identify fixed obstacles before assuming how many courts will fit.

Base, levels and drainage

Modular tiles and roll-out sports flooring still depend on a suitable supporting base. Existing concrete or asphalt should be checked for condition, falls and drainage. Grass or soft ground normally requires a prepared hard-base pathway before the final sports surface is selected.

Supporting court systems

Lighting, nets, hoops, fencing and sports-camera positions are easier to coordinate before the surface layout is frozen. For schools, clubs and public facilities, plan these elements together so cable routes, post positions and camera sightlines do not conflict with the finished court.

Separate product supply from local construction
