Current production equivalence to the tested samples
Start Flooring Brief
ATHREN Timber · Selection Guide
Use sport, competition requirement, available floor depth, event use and floor interfaces to narrow the starting pathway while current production equivalence and any required current approval/listing remain project-confirmed.
Project conditions
The selector does not claim that double batten performs better than single batten. Shock absorption, deformation, ball rebound, friction and rolling-load values are only assigned where supported by applicable project documentation.
Selection boundary
The 2020 results document both tested samples, but they do not prove current-production equivalence or create a simple “better” system ranking. Final selection still follows the actual project and current technical evidence.
Current production equivalence to the tested samples
Current FIBA approval / official listing where required
Current EN 14904, fire and VOC evidence
Project-specific slab, depth, equipment and venue-use coordination
Project supply enquiry
Include hall dimensions, slab and moisture information, floor build-up allowance, sports use and current performance evidence requirements. Apollo supplies the flooring system; local installation and approvals are coordinated separately.
Direct project answers
Project-led timber sports-floor selector using primary sport, competition requirement, available build-up height, event conversion use and floor interfaces.
Typical project pathways include residential projects, commercial projects, hospitality projects, and international projects. Final suitability depends on the exact configuration, site conditions, operating requirements and destination.
Before specification or quotation, the project review should confirm: Verified product specifications or documented product facts; Clear applications, limitations and configuration boundaries; Project inputs required for manual quotation or technical review; Apollo supply-only scope and purchaser/local-project responsibilities. Claims are kept tied to the exact proposed system rather than transferred from a related product or reference configuration.
Apollo can supply suitable projects internationally where the product and destination pathway are current. Send the project location, intended use, dimensions or quantities, timing, relevant drawings or photographs, and any known performance, compliance or environmental requirements for review.
