ATHREN Timber · FIBA Test Evidence

Use the laboratory evidence without turning it into a certificate.

Two manufacturer timber-floor samples were tested under the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre programme in 2020. Both reports record a PASS against the submitted Level 2 wooden-floor requirements, while explicitly stating that the reports are not Certificates of Approval.

What the supplied reports establish

Tested samples passed. Current approval remains a separate question.

The evidence is useful because it records the construction type and measured performance of the submitted single-keel and double-keel samples. It does not establish a current FIBA approval certificate for today's ATHREN supply configuration.

Confirmed

Report type

FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre Approval Programme laboratory test reports · wooden flooring.

Confirmed

Test result

Single-keel and double-keel submitted samples both recorded PASS against the Level 2 requirements covered by their reports.

Boundary

Approval status

The reports expressly say they are not Certificates of Approval. Current approval/listing is confirmed separately where required.

Documented laboratory reference

Measured performance from the 2020 test samples.

These figures come from the manufacturer samples submitted to the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre laboratory-test programme. They are useful performance evidence, but the reports are not Certificates of Approval and do not by themselves prove that the current production build is unchanged.

Claim boundaries

What we are not publishing.

These guardrails stay in place unless supported by the applicable project documentation.

Not claimed

01

Any claim that ATHREN T-S1 or T-D2 is currently FIBA Approved

Not claimed

02

Any claim of current FIBA certification without a current certificate or official listing

Not claimed

03

Any extension of the 2020 test results to portable, floating or materially different floor constructions

Next evidence pack

What still needs current confirmation.

The 2020 test results can now be published as historical laboratory references. The remaining work is to connect them cleanly to today's production and close the current compliance documentation.

01

Current production equivalence to the 2020 tested samples

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

02

Current FIBA Certificate of Approval / official listing

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

03

EN 14904 evidence

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

04

Fire performance

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

05

Formaldehyde / VOC evidence

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

06

Current warranty and maintenance schedule

Held until current manufacturer or project documentation confirms the requirement.

Use exact evidence

Competition claims are confirmed against the quoted floor.

For project documentation, the exact construction, sport requirement and—where required—the current approval certificate or official listing are checked together before an approval statement is issued.
