PM-T: firmer response
The acrylic-sand PM-T pathway is aimed at a firmer, high-response, tournament-style playing character for pickleball and multi-sport.
Start Smart QuoteApollo roll-out sports flooring
Apollo’s roll-out range includes PM-S 3.5 PickleSand, PM-T 3.0 Acrylic Sand, PM-E custom-printed flooring, a 3.0 mm Pickle Stone training pathway and professional indoor sports rolls. These systems suit portable, semi-permanent and fixed projects where a continuous playing face is preferred over an open modular tile texture. A portable pickleball court is normally a removable multi-roll flooring system rather than one lightweight mat.

Technical overview
The right option depends on the sport, base condition, expected use, installation method and maintenance expectations.
Roll-out flooring is continuous and does not drain through like open modular tile. Outdoor projects need deliberate base falls, perimeter/channel drainage, weather-suitable fixing and careful seam detailing. Product warranties, colour availability and final layer build-up are confirmed in the current Apollo quotation rather than assumed from older supplier literature.

Continuous court surface
The current PM-S, PM-T and PM-E pathways use different surface, reinforcement and backing constructions. Selection should be based on playing feel, installation format, indoor/outdoor exposure, base preparation and the exact project specification rather than thickness alone.
Pickleball applications
The imagery focuses on the playing surface, court application and roll format so the different pathways are easier to compare.

Project fit
The acrylic-sand PM-T pathway is aimed at a firmer, high-response, tournament-style playing character for pickleball and multi-sport.
PM-S adds a more forgiving underfoot feel and controlled pickle-sand texture for clubs, training, halls and longer sessions.
PM-E adds a printed pattern layer beneath the protective surface, allowing project-specific colours, patterns and branded court graphics while retaining a sports-flooring build-up.
The 3.0 mm Pickle Stone pathway is available in compact 7.2 × 15 m and larger 9 × 18.3 m layouts for teaching, training and multi-use court programmes.
The documented workflow is to prepare a smooth, clean base, unroll and position the flooring, tape the seams where appropriate, then use grooving, welding and seam flattening for installations that require welded joints.
Professional indoor roll and portable PM-T / PM-S layouts support halls, event courts and temporary conversions without permanent alteration.
Custom-printed PVC can place club identity, sponsor zones or themed graphics beneath the protective playing layer while preserving line clarity.
Selected custom pathways can be developed against Pantone, RAL and CBCC / China Architectural Colour Card references. This gives clubs, schools and commercial venues a stronger route to coordinated brand or architectural colours, subject to final production matching.
Portable rolls should be numbered, mapped, rolled on suitable cores and stored dry rather than folded.
Temporary installation works well for events, demonstrations and occasional sessions, but repeated setup and pack-down is labour intensive. Regular programmes often benefit from leaving the court in place for weeks or months with a removable semi-permanent fixing strategy.
A roll that fits on a truck may still be difficult to move through narrow doors, corridors, lifts or tight corners. Access from delivery point to staging area, court and storage should be checked before the system is ordered.
PM-T is listed for indoor/outdoor use; selected PM-S configurations may be outdoor-suitable, subject to exact build, fixing, UV/weather and warranty conditions.
