Football Turf Systems

Competition to community football surfaces.

Project-configured artificial football turf for stadiums, clubs, academies, schools, training facilities and community fields. Surface selection is based on playing level, use, climate, base, drainage, infill strategy and evidence requirements.

Five project pathways

Start with the use case, then confirm the exact system.

Public product families stay stable while the final technical configuration is matched to the current project evidence and supply route.

01

Football Elite

Higher-performance football pathway for stadium, academy and competition-oriented projects.

Project configured
02

Football Performance

Commercial club and academy pathway balancing playing performance, durability and lifecycle use.

03

Football Training

High-use training, school and community pathway structured around repeat use and practical maintenance.

Project configured
04

Football Semi-Fill

Reduced-infill pathway for projects where infill quantity and maintenance strategy are material design considerations.

Project configured
05

Football Non-Infill

Non-infill pathway for selected football and recreation projects, subject to exact performance requirements.

Selection logic

What determines the right football turf?

Pile height or price alone is not a specification. The selected system needs to work with the users, field construction, climate, maintenance model and evidence pathway.

Playing level

Competition, club, academy, school or community.

Usage intensity

Expected weekly and annual utilisation.

Climate

UV, temperature, rainfall, humidity and exposure.

Infill direction

Conventional, reduced-infill or non-infill.

Shock layer

Selected only where the exact system and project require it.

Base & drainage

New construction, conversion or replacement condition.

Evidence requirement

Governing-body, consultant or tender requirements for the exact system.

Artificial football turf system layers including turf, infill, shock pad, drainage and prepared base

Complete field system

Surface, base and drainage must work together.

Depending on the selected pathway, the field system may include performance infill, stabilising infill, a shock layer, drainage layer, prepared base, perimeter restraint and inlaid line marking. These elements are confirmed as one project system rather than treated as interchangeable parts.

Supply model

LUTHVAR is supplied on a wholesale and project basis. Civil works, drainage construction, installation, testing and local compliance remain project-specific and are confirmed in the project scope.

Project brief

What we need to review a football field.

A stronger brief means a faster and more reliable technical selection.

Evidence control

Certification follows the exact system.

Where a project requires a governing-body standard, consultant specification or formal field-testing pathway, the exact turf, infill, shock layer and supporting documentation are confirmed for the proposed project system. Certification is not treated as a blanket claim across a product family.

Football project brief

Send the field conditions before locking the turf.

We can then identify the appropriate LUTHVAR football pathway and confirm the exact technical configuration at quotation stage.
